Flymo Sabre Cut Hedge Trimmer Review

Flymo Sabre Cut Hedge Trimmer is a modern elongated shape which caters for those people with large garden hedges and trees.

My previous hedge trimmer was your standard mains driven cutter with an electric motor - heavy and cumbersome, with a main lead that had a mind of it's own. So when it finally packed up I decided to treat myself to a new toy.

With the Sabre Cut I can trim most of my hedges and trees from the ground with little reaching.

The telescopic shaft allows to cut your hedges and trees, without having to contort yourself into various uncomfortable positions and stand on various garden chairs and ladders.

My battery seems to have an extraordinary lifespan and in 3 or 4 sessions of cutting I still haven't needed to recharge, and the trimmer is as powerful as when I first purchased it.

The trimmer has two "dead man's handles" which need to be gripped in order for it to work, just in case you decide to scratch your leg and end up cutting the other leg off. Occasionally this is a pain but you realise it is for your own safety as the teeth are reasonably sharp and will cut through decent sized shrubs and hedge branches.

In my opinion the Flymo Sabre Cut Hedge Trimmer is worth the money and has been designed and built with the average amateur gardener in mind.
